Kahlan Amnell's Mother Confessor Dress

So, for a while now, I have been recreating Kahlan Amnell's white Confessor dress from Legend of the Seeker. And I am happy to say that, after much hard work, it is finished!

    Hi! I love, love, love your recreation of this dress and it looked fabulous on you for DragonCon! I have just started watching Legend of the Seeker and have decided that the mother confessor dress will be my next project. Can you give me any advice on patterns or fabrics/ how to do the lacing? I would greatly appreciate it. I just noticed that you live in Smyrna. We moved from Cumming, GA a while ago, though I still have many friends in Smyrna and Roswell. Small world. Anyway. Kudos on the dress. It's the best recreation that I've seen in my research. :) Also, did you make the corset and underdress too? Thanks! Britt

    I would like to say that the dress you made is one of the most beautiful dresses I've seen. I've been looking for one ever since the premier of the show. It is wonderful to know that it can be recreated.

    i am going to try to make Kahlan Amnell's Mother Confessor Dress as well and have been doing recherche and was wondering if you would could tell me if what kind of fabric you used? did you use an pattern and altered it from there?

    I too have not seen a better recreation of the dress. I have been looking for a costume to buy for 2 years and have found patterns that are too complicated for my mom to sow. Would it be even possible for you to make me a dress or send me your patterns? (I would pay you fyi) Would really appriciate it!
